Right in the heart of the city, we can find this old grocery which has been charmly renovated to preserve the essence of its history. This is reflected in every detail of the decoration as, for example, its ceilings made of wooden beams from the XVII century.
El Almacén is a meeting place to enjoy a good wine and accompany it with some of the tapas and specialities from their menu. Enjoy your meal in its spectacular 14-meter bar, in the adjoining lounge or at the terrace placed on La Torre Street.
It is a nice corner, to visit with friends and have a good time. The menu varies according to the season and from their specialities, they would like to highlight, among others, their cous-cous cake and the delicious mini hamburgers, honey aubergines, aubergines with salmorejo, prawn salad, cod patties, ortiguilla cake and the cherry lasagna.
They would also like to mention their commitment to local wines. At El Almacén they have an interesting and careful selection of wines from the Province of Cadiz, which are perfect place to enjoy in good company. Also, do not forget to ask for their excellent homemade desserts.
And if you fancy a drink or listening to good music you can visit La Carbonería, another fantastic place, just few meters away.
Without a doubt, an excellent option to eat and have a good time in Jerez de la Frontera city centre.”
