Bodegas Williams and Humbert, in Jerez de la Frontera, own the largest wine-making facilities in Europe. They have been awarded with a National Architecture prize,and are part of the historical Andalusian heritage.
It is the only vinery in the city featuring an Equestrian show during the visit, which is included in the ticket price. Definitely an unforgettable and unique experience for wine lovers.
Founded in 1877 by Sir. Alexander Williams, a great connoisseur and admirer of Sherry products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in International relations, it is currently owned by the Medina family and is one of the great enoturistic referents in Jerez de la Frontera.
A visit to the wine cellar includes:
- Tasting of 3 wines + aperitif.
- Equestrian show, included in the visit fee and without extra cost, on Wednesday and Friday (all year): During the high season: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12 noon.
- Guides in several languages: Spanish, English and German. For other Llanguages, it is necessary to book in advance.

The winery has the accreditation of PREDIF ACCESSIBLE TOURISM Distinctive award for working on the accessibility of all its facilities andservices. It has a VIRTUAL DIORAMA (in real size of the famous Sherry Girl), Equestrian Installations (12,000 m2) and the Vintage Room more Old and complete Jerez wine certified by the Regulatory Council from 1920 to the current year.
It is also possible to rent their facilities and different rooms to celebrate all kind of events and celebrations as well as congresses and weddings.
And as a curiosity, there are 17 different species of birds of the five continents thanks to an agreement with the Jerez Zoo for its Care, conservation and reproduction.
