Tabanco Plateros is located on one of the most beautiful and popular places in the old town of Jerez de la Frontera. This tavern tries to combine the traditions of typical Tabancos (tavern – bar) with the new vision of a modern wine bars.
In Tabanco Plateros you can find a variety of sherry wines of the corporation Cooperativa de las Angustias from Jerez, which are served in a so-called Catavinos (wine tasting glass) or filled up according to customer’s request. The wines are accompanied by cheese from the Province of Cadiz and typical cold cuts which are offered on plates that were made by an artist from Jerez.
Vermouth is served in a traditional Vermouth Sifón, making The Tabanco Plateros pioneers in making this drink popular again, as in many other cities in Spain.
They have a good selection of typical and traditional tapas, like Payoyo cheese, sausages, roast beef, black pudding or other plates which you find in the menu.
