Capilla de Nuestra Señora de las Angustias (Caminito)
The Little Chapel of Nuestra Señora de las Angustias was built on the initiative of the Capuchino Fray Pablo de Cádiz in the early 18th century, as the seat of the spiritual group Virgen del Camino, from where its popular name Capilla del Caminito comes from.
In the mid-18th century it changed its name for the Virgen de las Angustias. Standing out on the facade is the cover and the sculpture of the Virgin with Christ dead in her arms, both made out of white marble.
The inside the Genovese altarpiece that presides over the presbytery stands out, made out of coloured marble at the beginning of the 18th century.
