The House of the Jesuits is the square where current market place takes place in Arcos de la Frontera.

Located in the Plaza Boticas, this building began to be built in mid-18th century to accommodate the Order, but remained unfinished after the first expulsion of the Jesuits from Spain ordered by Carlos III. As a curiosity, they were deported twice more, in 1835, during the Regency of Maria Cristina of Borbón, and in 1932, under the Second Spanish Republic.
