Iglesia de Capuchinos
The Capuchinos Church was part of the convent that the order kept open in the city since 1639 until its demolition in the mid-20th century. The building had an important group of paintings, which can be seen in the Museum of Cádiz. They highlighted several of Murillo`s paintings, who say died of the wounds caused by falling from a scaffold while working there.
The Chapel of the Venerable Third Order was built in the 18th century, with a rectangular shape and a single nave covered by a barrel vault decorated with frescoes, partly preserved, depicting scenes from the life of San Francisco.
