The yacimiento arqueológico de la Casa del Obispo (archaeological site of the Bishop’s House), located between the old and new cathedrals, allows checking the evolution of the city from the 8th century BC to the 18th century AD.
It has remains of Phoenician burial monuments and buildings. Noteworthy are the remains of a belonging to a group of three Roman temples dedicated to Apollo, Aesculapius and Hygia (Asklepieion).
