“It is considered one of the most important cave painting collections of the entire peninsula. These caves were discovered in 1913 and were declared Architectural Artistic Monument in 1924 and have become a benchmark for prestigious national and international historians and researchers.
It is the natural jewel of the province of Cadiz. It extends between the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga and consists of one of the largest cork oak forests in the world.
Centro de Interpretación Cádiz Prehistórico
This Centre shows us the primitive life system using new technologies. During the visit we can learn about evolution, the useful and indispensable tools used during the ancient times.
Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Socorro
It’s an Eclectic style church, which was been given a deliberate Medieval, Romanesque and a Mudejar look, with canted arches and bricks. Curiously, the funds raised for its construction came from the sale of materials recovered from the Hermitage and from donations from neighbors.
