What to see in Paterna de Rivera
Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Inhiesta
In the Mudejar style, this 16th century Church has three naves. Standing out are its three chapels: la del Sagrario, la de los Bautismos and the Virgen de la Soledad.
Zona Recreativa Cortegana
It is an ideal green space to get away for the weekend and enjoy a splendid day of nature. It’s very well equipped and is close to Puerto Serrano; here they celebrate the Romería de San Sebastián (a yearly pilgrimage) which is held in mid-September.
It is the only mineral spring of sulfur-saline water that has lasted till our day and age from all those that fed the different spa resorts that existed in Paterna de Rivera during the 19th century.
