The Pinar de la Algaida is a vast forest very similar to the one at Doñana. It has recreational areas and a bike trail that runs through it, with several different circuits.
The landscape is dominated by pine trees and scrub consisting of mastic, juniper, and aromatic plants. At one end of the forest there is a very large eucalyptus tree which has been listed as a “Singular Andalusian Tree”.
You can see many species of birds such as vultures, eagles, black storks and kites. It is also the common Chameleons natural habitat.
