Casa Emilio – Rota
Casa Emilio Restaurant has been located in the street Mina de Rota for more than 35 years. Currently run by Domingo Figueroa and Rosa Arjona, they been betting on quality and fresh fish from the Bay since its opening.
Also in the menu you can find stews of all kind, and it stands out for offering an excellent homemade, traditional and very local cuisine.
“Home cooking” or as the cook says: “what she did in her house for five, now she does it for those who need it”. And that affection with which things are done at home, is reflected also in their menu and and is appreciated in the familiar treatment that their customers receive.
The restaurant has recently moved to number 17 on the same street. The new place is modern and cozy, with an elegant interior heated dining room, decorated with marine motifs and a large terrace on the pedestrian street to enjoy the abundant days of good weather that Rota has.
In addition to fresh fish of the day and seafood, the menu includes seafood stews from the area, such as Urta a la Roteña, exquisite premium meats, paellas and rice dishes. We recommend that you have a look at the showcase where the customer can choose the piece they want.
Definitely a perfect choice to eat in Rota and enjoy its fish and traditional recipes.
