Tabanco – El Guitarrón de San Pedro – Jerez de la Frontera
There are places that have become symbols of their cities. This is the case of the Tabancos, typical wine bars in Jerez, which have developed over the years as a meeting place, tapas bar and in some cases as flamenco bars.
And these three conditions are united by the Tabanco El Guitarrón de San Pedro, located in the best location in the center of Jerez, on Bizcocheros street, next to the church of San Pedro.
In this place, with old stone walls and nicely decorated, you can enjoy a superb selection of wines. Finos, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Oloroso, creams, Pedro Ximenez, Muscat and Palo Cortado are on offer.
There is a small selection of tapas made with typical products of the Cadiz region, such as: goat cheese, cold cuts and ham, combined with great wines, simply wonderful. The menu is supplemented or changed weekly with some new tapas.
This bar is also known for its good cultural offer. There are regular exhibitions and from Thursday to Saturday evening, flamenco performances and world music.
Definitely a unique place to discover the authentic Jerez de la Frontera.
