Tabanco Las Banderillas – Jerez de la Frontera
In the historic center of Jerez de la Frontera, at the intersection of the Caballeros and San Pablo streets and just a few meters from Plaza del Arenal, is this well-known Tabanco (Tavern).
The Tabanco las Banderillas has a bullfighting aesthetic that unites all typical elements of these unique bars in Jerez de la Frontera, where sherry wine plays a special role.
It has a large bar area, tables and some wine barrels on the street.
On the menu we find tapas or half portions, such as cold starters, Spanish ham and meats, cheeses and montaditos (small sandwiches), which are ideal to combine with a good sherry wine.
Particularly noteworthy are also the warm dishes, such as: traditional stews, fried specialties, fish, meat, seafood and scrambled eggs or omelets.
This spot is known for its Oxtail Recipes, one of the city’s most cherished dishes.
Definitely a good place to eat in Jerez and enjoy a unique environment and atmosphere.
