What to see in Algar
Plaza de Toros de Algar
It is one of the cultural references of the town. The portal stands out, made out of stone and the inside of stone and masonry; the stands are arranged in concentric circles around the arena.
It is the natural jewel of the province of Cadiz. It extends between the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga and consists of one of the largest cork oak forests in the world.
Iglesia Parroquial de Santa María de Guadalupe, Algar
It is the most important religious monument of Algar. From the 18th century, its construction is closely linked to the founder of the town, Mr. Domingo López de Carvajal.
