What to see in Castellar de la Frontera
Calzada Romana de Castellar
It is a paved road that runs from the area known as “La Jarandilla”, at the beginning of the road leading to the old town, and reaches the castle walls.
It is the natural jewel of the province of Cadiz. It extends between the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga and consists of one of the largest cork oak forests in the world.
Plaza Andalucía, Castellar
It is the heart and center of the new town of Castellar. It was built in the 1970s, given the difficulty of inhabiting the old village, in this corner the Town Hall is located in and the sanctuary of the Santísimo Cristo de La Almoraima.
Castillo de Castellar de la Frontera
It is closely related to the history and origin of the villa which is situated in the 10th century. Strolling along its narrow streets, visiting its terraces and enjoying the surrounding views are unique spectacles.
