What to see in Villaluenga del Rosario
Sierra de Grazalema
It is one of the most valuable ecological areas in the southern peninsula and therefore of great importance in the rest of the territory. It is considered a Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO ) and Special Protection Area for Birds.
Sima de Villaluenga
Its location close to the village and its spacious dimensions, make it a place of great interest which has been visited and used over the centuries.
Iglesia San Miguel Arcángel
Temple from the 18th century built with a Mudejar and Baroque dome plant. It has very venerated carvings such; the Virgen del Rosario, the Crucificado and a sculpture of the Niño Jesús dated back to the 18th century.
Museo del Queso
This museum invites visitors to go through a series of explanatory panels and two audiovisuals of how this product originated, its importance in the Mediterranean diet and its craftsmanship.
Ayuntamiento de Villaluenga
It is a civil architecture building which owes its importance to the town being the capital of the estate of the seven villas.
