Featured way base in Salinas de Bonanza


The trail Camino de las Salinas, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, runs parallel to the river Guadalquivir through the Natural Park of Doñana in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The landscape is characterized by salt marshes and wetlands and is a nice contrast to the nearby pine forest of Algaida and Coto de Doñana.

It’s a great track with beautiful scenery and a must for bird lovers, as there are several vantage points. Depending on the season you can see flamingos, avocets, herons, ducks, spoonbills, ospreys and other species.

How to get there:

Of Sanlucar de Barrameda, take the Colonia Monte Algaida (CA-9027) motorway. When appears Bonanza, at 1.5 km turn to the left with signal Salinas de Bonanza.
