River course of Benamahoma to El Bosque.


This track is one of the most popular in the Sierra de Grazalema. The low level of difficulty and the beautiful natural surroundings make the trail perfect for a family outing. The route runs parallel to the river Majaceite and connects the city Banamahoma (Grazalema) and El Bosque.

Although you can find on holidays some tourists, however, the river provides a visual spectacle. Poplar, willow, oleander, cassis, rose, thorn bushes, clematis and honeysuckle are among the typical plants. Likewise, an abundance of wildlife such as otters and many birds like the golden oriole, blackbird, wagtail, warbler, robin or the nightingale.

How to get there:

The trail begins in the northwestern part of Benamahoma, in the lower part of the city, next to the sale of Bujío. You can use the street La Cuesta de la Venta access.
