Beach Bars in Cadiz Province
The “chiringuitos” or beach bars in Cadiz, located at the beach front, are an authentic and fun mix between a bar, restaurant, pub and cafeteria with the special feature of being located so close to the sea that it allows us to hear its waves, to feel the breeze and to appreciate the salty essence.
It is rare that any of the beaches don’t have at least one of these bars, from Sotogrande to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, passing through Tarifa or Zahara, family bars are usually found and where year after year they are again operational during the months of the holiday period.
Most of them are usually removable and are used, preferably, from March till the end of October, although some already work throughout the year. Many of the beach bars complement their activity with the rental of hammocks and umbrellas or Active Tourism activities.
They offer a rich and varied menu of foods and drinks, such as rice, salads, fish and grilled meats, barbecues and a wide range of tapas, during lunchtime, later on it’s time for coffee and when nighttime arrives more and more of the chiringuitos offer themed parties, or simply good music, where you are able to enjoy the night and escape from the hot summer weather.
